Description
Vintage Native American Indian vase, made out of milk glass, by Fostoria in the early 1900's. Has transfer of a Native American Indian chief with feathers in hair. Carmel and brown color over white milk glass. 7.5" h x 4.5" w.
This type of vase was commonly available at fairs and expositions of the time. The vast majority of these interesting vases were produced by Westmoreland Glass and Fostoria Glass companies.
There seem to be very few of these vases of Native American Indians under a brown glaze on milk glass.
This one is in very good condition for its age and was probably used as a flower vase.
All in all this is a nice antique piece.
